Covid Update:
As per the Government guidelines for provincial shutdown, starting on Saturday April 3, the Library will be curbside pickup only. You can place your book orders online, through Facebook, email or give us a call.

The password for placing holds in the catalogue: books
If you are feeling ill, please do not pick up or return books.

1. From our website, choose "How to Search the Catalogue" then choose "Open the online catalogue". Materials are labelled either book, audio, video etc...
2. Phone or email your book order to the library 613-924-2048 - athenspl@bellnet.ca
3.Librarians will fill your order and let you know when your order is ready for pickup. Please note: There is a limit of 3 books per patron.
4. Orders can be picked up through the front door. Please wait in the hall for your books to be brought to you. If you wish to have books dropped in your car, please call the library once you are in the parking lot.
5. Please present your library card when picking up materials.
6. Orders will be filled first come, first served. The librarians will let you know if the item you requested in not available.
7. Returns can be placed in the book drop.
8. All returning materials will be quarantined for 72 before being placed back on the shelves.
9. The library will remain closed to the public.

Annual Harvest Bazaar
Bazaar has been canceled for 2020. We hope to see you for the Bazaar in October 2021.

Our Cornfest booksale has been cancelled due to the cancellation of Cornfest

TD Summer Reading Program

Free Museum Passes
5 persons (max. 2 adults) for the Canadian War Museum and the Canadian Museum of History. 3 passes available for the Canadian Museum of Nature. Also now passes for the Brockville Aquatarium, Ontario Provincial Parks, Rideau Valley Conservation Areas, Ingenium Museum Passes: Passes are good for 2 adults and 4 children, Canadian Museum of Science and Technology, Canadian Museum of Agriculture and Food, Canadian Museum of Space and Aviation.
Borrowing period - 5 days.

COME BUILD, SHARE and DISPLAY your creation
Lego Young Builders ages 5 to 10 accompanied with parent/guardian will be held 1st & 2nd Friday of each month from October to June, 6:30 to 7:30 pm.

Back-Packs available for ages 3 to 11 years, filled with books, games, puzzles, toys, movies etc. Outdoor Mapsacks filled with all things outdoors. Different themes are available. This program has been made available through The Mapsack Project – Where literacy meets Nature. Mapsacks have passes to Ontario Parks and Rideau Conservation Authority.
