Provincial Park Passes
Did you know we have FREE Day-Use park passes? Valid for your carload 🙂
Call 613-924-2048 or email athenspubliclibrary@gmail.com the book your passes and arrange pickup

Museum Passes
We have free family passes for many of the museums in Ottawa. Contact library for more info.

The library has day passes that are available to sign out. These passes are good for the following areas.

Foley
Perth Wildlife
Rideau Ferry Yacht Club

Backpack Program
These are available for ages 3 to 11 years.
Themed family backpacks filled with books for a variety of reading levels, craft kits, a movie and fun activity sheets.
Outdoor Mapsacks filled with all things outdoors. Different themes are available. This program has been made available through The Mapsack Project – Where literacy meets Nature. Mapsacks have passes to Ontario Parks and Rideau Conservation Authority.
New to the library- Sensory Play Backpacks!
Thanks to a very generous donation by Thousand Islanders Chorus, we have been able to put together two backpacks filled with sensory toys and books for kids. Come by and check them out!




Toddler Time
For toddlers and their parents/caregivers from birth to Age 3.
Join us for storytime, crafts, singing and more.
Thursdays from September-June from 10-11am here at the library.

Lego Club
LEGO Club meets two Wednesday evenings a month from September to June at 6:30-7:30pm.
The First Wednesday of each month is our Junior Lego Club for Ages 4-7. The second Wednesday of each month is our Senior Lego Club for Ages 8-12.
